As\u00ed pues, se inscribe el estudio de los recursos presentes en la corteza terrestre y en el subsuelo. En ese sentido, las perforaciones del subsuelo constituyen uno de los m\u00e9todos empleados en el trabajo de campo. La informaci\u00f3n recabada tiene una vastedad de aplicaciones<\/p><p>Las perforaciones para geolog\u00eda pueden arrojar datos en la exploraci\u00f3n y explotaci\u00f3n de recursos minerales e hidrocarburos, as\u00ed como el an\u00e1lisis de los acu\u00edferos (aguas subterr\u00e1neas). Sus aplicaciones tambi\u00e9n pueden salvar estructuras y vidas humanas, puesto que, a trav\u00e9s de la evaluaci\u00f3n de los movimientos de la corteza terrestre, se puede prevenir varios fen\u00f3menos naturales como sismos y erupciones volc\u00e1nicas.<\/p><p>Hard Rock Drilling asiste a los ge\u00f3logos nacionales en sus labores, mediante la ejecuci\u00f3n de perforaciones. Mediante perforadoras con martillo en fondo (<em>down the hole<\/em>, D.T.H.) y personal altamente calificado, podemos realizar perforaciones entre 5\u201d y 12\u201d, con profundidades de hasta 200 metros.
